Doha Film Institute, in collaboration with the HBKU Student Center, presents Montage, a five-day introduction to the art and craft of film editing and its crucial role in cinematic storytelling. This workshop will be led by award-winning filmmaker and editor Sabine El-Chamaa.

Participants will shoot and edit their own short films using only photographs, music, voice-over and sound effects to create compelling ‘photo-films’ that will greatly enhance their visual storytelling abilities.

Submissions close 8 September, 2013.

Successful applicants will be notified by 11 September.

This workshop is open to participants 18 years of age and older.
