All of Us (Watu Wote)
Ajyal Competition
Synopsis
For almost a decade, Kenya has been the target of terrorist attacks by the Al-Shabaab group, and this has led to mistrust between Christian and Muslim populations. When a Christian woman who experienced violence at the hands of Al-Shabaab voyages home in a bus of predominantly Muslim passengers, she is at once anxious and indignant. But when the bus is stopped by a group of terrorists, humanity prevails. Based on real-life events, ‘All of Us’ demonstrates that true faith is stronger than hatred.
