Synopsis

'Autumn' is a conceptual romantic narrative of the captivity of the intellectual class in the trap of power-seeking policies and the intense effects of these policies on societies. The story of 'Autumn' is created based on a family. An emotional narrative between reality and fantasy that critiques the deadly effects of war on homes and communities.

About the Director

Adnan Nassari finds his pure joy in idea development, scriptwriting, and content creation. He has mastered these fields with over two decades of study, research, and analysis. His efforts have yielded two live-action film treatments, an animation film script, and three short scripts. Intrigued by directing, he expanded his skills in image production, starting as a graphic designer in 1997. He has worked professionally in photography, editing, VFX, filming, and composites to enhance his directing vision. After returning to Iran in 2009, he established Afagh Pictures, with the content production department as the inaugural department under his leadership.

Thanks to a scholarship awarded by the Supreme Education Council of Qatar, Aisha Al-Jaidah has pursued her dream of studying animation and graduated from Kingston University London as the first Qatari citizen to hold a BA Hons in Illustration & Animation. Her career in animation began professionally in 2010 at Al Jazeera Children's Channel as a senior animation producer, animating the first animated children's series created by a local in Qatar. This motivated Aisha to create and run her own animation company, 'Blue Penguin Animation,' where she directed and co-produced her first animated short film '1001 Days'. A winner of three festival awards, the film gained popularity in Qatar after being screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Aisha's love for animation is endless, and she continues to expand her knowledge and determination to develop upcoming films.

Already having fans and followers all over social media, Kholoud Al Ali is one of Qatar's most recognisable artists. She graduated from Qatar University with a BA in Art Education and continued this passion in her job, working for Jeem TV and Baraem since 2007. During her time there, Kholoud managed to expand her artistic skills and implement them into script writing and directing the animated series created locally in Doha. The series has successfully been on air since 2015, covering two seasons with a total of 26 episodes. She has recently completed two animated shorts and is not stopping there. Kholoud continues her talent of illustration for both young and old but has already immersed herself in the world of animation and directing.
