Synopsis
Millions of drug-stuffed pomegranates were meant to be smuggled but ended up flooding the Lebanese markets. Enter Amal, Najwa, Wared, and Laura—four broke, middle-aged neighbours just trying to survive the economic collapse, not run a cartel. At first, they think the dirtiest their hands will get is by hacking their building’s grid for free electricity. But one day, they realise their dinner snack contains a way out of misery: drugs. Selling to rehab teens? Easy. Crushed amphetamines rebranded as “cocaine”? Genius.
Their plan lands them in the world of their idol—soap opera queen Dalida. With her career fading and her fiancé’s drug empire crumbling, she’s willing to destroy the country to stay on top. Now, these desperate housewives must smuggle drugs in wigs, deal with bad trips, and fend off existential crises—all while struggling to work for Dalida and her fiancé. As the country spirals, their new criminal side hustle brings chaos to their homes. Between a diva’s tantrum, a snoopy cop, and an indie quest led by their teens that puts everyone at risk, things get out of hand. The only way out? Clean up their mess. Too bad their hands are already dirty…
