Doha Film Institute is excited to introduce a workshop featuring British sound engineer, Stephen Longstaff, who will lead participants through a series of hands-on exercises, film clips and enhance participant’s skills in sound recording and production.
The workshop will focus on key aspects of sound recording such as the role of a sound recordist, boom operator techniques, blocking scenes for sound, sound mixing, monitoring levels and how to place a microphone on an actor in any situation.
Date: 4-6 November, 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM
Location: Katara Cultural Village
This workshop is open for participants 16 years old and up.
