More About Our Guest Yasser Al-naemi
Yasser Al-naemi is a distinguished Qatari cinematographer with a versatile career spanning film, television, and advertising. His involvement in both national and international productions includes notable works such as 'Medinah' (2016), 'Between Science and Religion' (2017), and 'The Pact' (2018). In 2019, Yasser founded his own film production house and cine-lenses manufacturing workshop, Celeritas Studios, which evolved into Lenses Media in 2024.
A strong advocate for film education, Yasser has conducted numerous workshops in collaboration with Qatar University, Doha Film Institute, and Virginia Commonwealth University, leading to the establishment of a minor program in film at VCU Qatar and Northwestern University in Qatar. He holds an Advanced Cinematography and Visual Effects certificate from The Global Cinematography Institute in Los Angeles, California.
