Tracks (Rages)
Ajyal Competition
Synopsis
A mother sobs in a taxi, holding her young son in her arms. Something terrible has happened – but what? Elsewhere, a university student argues with her roommate over rent, keeping her room and why she does not wish to move home from Athens. The universe works in strange ways, and these storylines move inexorably toward their intersection. Careful pacing and a cryptic structure give ‘Tracks’ a dreadful, almost panicked sense of foreboding as some unknown event approaches.
